Mealworms

By: Jack D.

Tuesday, October 21st, we got mealworms. We named our mealworms, we played with them, we fed them, and we measured them. We learned that in the adult stage, they will turn into beetles.

We all got two of our own until they turn into beetles. We are waiting for them to turn into their next stage, the pupa stage. We are feeding them bran flakes and apples. I think this is the best science experiment!

As long as those beetles don't come home, I'm good with it too!

good luck with your experiment. When the mealworms change into beetles, don't let them out of the container.

That sounds like fun! I'm wondering...how does one play with a mealworm?
