Waves

We were starting our science project. “Class, we are going to do a science project, whenever you’re quiet” Ms. Iten said. We all got quiet. “Now class, we’re learning about waves,” she said. Hooorrryyy! We all cheered.

We learned that waves aren’t just made of water; we learned that light and sound travel in waves. Ms. Iten got a can and we saw how sound waves travel. We also learned that waves have troughs and crests. We demonstrated it by using a parachute. We tried to keep DOG and two ghosts on the parachute. We also used forks, an oven rack and rocks to hear sound waves travel. It was sooo much fun!!!
