On October the eighth, Ms. Iten needed three kids to help her lift a table on top of another upside down table. But before she could do that, she put balloon bags under the table. Then she asked, “How can we lift up the table without touching it?”
We gave her some suggestions. One was to lift up the table by the bags. The other was to blow into the bags to create enough pressure to lift the table.
We tried to lift the table by the bags, it worked! We set the table back down. Then we tried to blow into the bags, it didn’t work. Then we picked the table back up and Ms. Iten tied the bags together. Then we blew into the bags again, it worked! I really liked this experiment.
